NEW INNOVATION TRAIL - 'LIVE'!
We’ve made exciting changes for the Innovation Trail at the 2018 Executive Hire Show!
As in previous years, it will form trail of innovation for visitors to follow as they make their way around the exhibition, and we are inviting all exhibitors to nominate a new product, or products, to be considered for inclusion on the Trail.
Basically, candidates must have been launched since the 2017 Show ended, they must be available for visitors to inspect on the supplier’s stand and must be commercially available rather than being prototypes. And they must show genuine innovation in meeting the specific needs of hirers and end users, rather than simply being “new”.
In December, an independent panel of hirers will assess the submissions to choose the products that are innovative enough for inclusion, and at the Show each will be highlighted by an eye-catching “Innovation Trail” floor tile strategically placed by the appropriate stand.
The big difference for 2018 is Innovation Trail – Live. What’s new is that, from the total number of selected Innovation Trail products, our Judges will choose 10 which they consider to be particularly outstanding. These will go forward into “Innovation Trail – Live”, in a specially branded stage area in Hall 2.
Each chosen “Innovation Trail – Live!” supplier will be given a dedicated 10-minute slot to present and explain their product, and to talk the audience through its innovative qualities., with the individual sessions held hourly from 11am to 3pm during the two days of the Show.
We are delighted that Paul Hutton, a radio, podcast and YouTube channel presenter, has agreed to host Innovation Trail – Live. He’ll interview each company’s representative ‘live’ on stage and discuss their product’s innovative qualities.
Paul will present each Innovation Trail –Live candidate with a commemorative trophy to mark their achievement.
We will provide an update on the chosen Innovation Trail products, and the 10 selected Innovation Trail – Live candidates, as soon as the judges have made their decision.
